Darren brings over 30 years of experience in coaching, leadership development, and community service to the Rao Family Foundation. A seasoned speaker and trainer, he has inspired audiences across Asia, sharing insights on overcoming challenges, transformational leadership, and personal growth.
Trained in Social Work, Darren is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Certified Professional Life Coach, and an Action Learning Coach. His work focuses on helping individuals create harmony between work, life and relationships to achieve lasting fulfilment.
Beyond his professional career, Darren is deeply committed to strengthening families and communities. He serves as a Family Life Ambassador with Singapore’s Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and has guided couples through marriage preparation and counselling for over two decades.
An active Colonel (COL) in the Singapore Armed Forces, Darren has been recognised with several national honours, including the Public Administration Medal (Military) awarded by the President of Singapore in 2023.
